Top 20 Rock Countdown - June 26, 2009

This week the Top 20 Rock Countdown brings three new entries, Godsmack, Trapt and Rev Theory. Godsmack makes a huge jump from no. 24 last week to a amazing 9 with their single Whiskey Hangover, they have only been on the charts for two weeks, this song is getting tremendous airplay all over and I am sure will climb up the charts quickly giving some of the top 5 a bit of a challenge. Trapt will be touring in Milwaukee on July 12, July 14, you can find them in Dayton, Ohio and on July 15th, Chicago, they will also be in Las Vegas so if you are a Trapt fan make sure you get your concert tickets, and they can be purchased right from our website, how easy is that? Rev Theory enters the charts at no. 20 they were no. 23 last week with their single Far From Over, they were also one of our featured bands and I was lucky enough to interview Julien Jorgensen, to read that interview click on the interview tab and you will find that one and others that we have done here at NetWavz Radio, make sure you check it out!! Nickelback moved up 4 spots, they are at no. 8 this week from 12 last week with Burn It To The Ground, they have been on the charts for six weeks and moving up nicely (cough cough). Unfortunately Disturbed was edged out of the no. 2 spot by Linkin Park, but with their new single New Divide and the box office hit Transformers this one is going for no. 1 there is no stopping them now. Shinedown and Mudvayne still holding two of the songs on the charts and Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked by Cage The Elephant has moved up four spots to no. 15 from 19 last week.
